The main product for comparison is Exchange, which is easily the market leader for this type of service. But Google Apps is rapidly growing in functionality and number of users at a huge rate, and why? Simple, it does a very similar job for much less.
Google Apps will cost around £150 to setup and configure your domain, and £33 per user for setting up each email address box - which is paid directly to Google on an annual basis.
If you need us to setup your hardware then there will be separate costs associated with that depending on your requirements but will generally be worked out on an hourly rate of £60 off site (bring your laptop to us) or £75 onsite (we come to your office).
Exchange on the other hand would cost several hundred to setup and around £11 a month per inbox – so the savings over the year are huge.
